Siena Golf Club

Siena Golf Club is a part of Las Vegas, Nevada's world-renowned golf courses. Golf course architect Schmidt-Curley designed it and first opened in 2000. The course is situated in the heart of the master-planned community of Siena, which Sunrise Colony Company developed for adults aged 55 and over. It was designed with the community's residents in mind, offering challenging play and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and natural desert landscapes.

The course features 18 holes spread out over 6,816 yards, with a par of 72. It boasts large, undulating greens and fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and water features that make for a challenging yet exciting round of golf. Siena Golf Club has received numerous accolades, including being named one of the "Top 100 Golf Communities" by Travel + Leisure Golf magazine.

Challenging Holes

Siena Golf Club is known for its challenging holes, which test even the most experienced golfers. For example, hole 3 is a par-4 that requires a precise tee shot to avoid a water hazard on the left side of the fairway, followed by an uphill approach shot to a green that slopes extensively from back to front. Meanwhile, hole 9 is a par-5 that offers the birdie opportunity but requires a well-placed tee shot to avoid a large bunker on the fairway's left side, followed by a second shot that must carry over water to reach the green.

On the other hand, hole 16 is a par-3 that plays uphill to a green that slopes severely from right to left, making it challenging to hold the ball on the putting surface. Finally, Hole 18 is a dramatic finishing hole, a par-4 that requires a tee shot that carries over a large lake to a narrow fairway, preceded by an approach shot to a green protected by bunkers on both sides. These challenging holes and many others make Siena Golf Club a favorite among golfers looking for a true test of their skills.
